Certain appliances require more power than you can generate off-grid. Here’s what you won’t be able to use:

Fortunately, many essential appliances can still operate:

• Fridge/freezer

Water Conservation: Our vans have varying water capacities (95-190L). To make your water last, shower lightly. We recommend this method:

1. Rinse off, then turn off the water.

2. Soap up.

3. Rinse off quickly.

Battery and Solar Supply

You can power lights, the water pump, TV, radio, fans, USB ports, and 12V sockets with your battery and solar setup.

Will My Batteries Run Flat?

While it’s possible, particularly during extended cloudy days, it rarely happens. You’ll typically use more gas than battery power. To keep your solar panels effective, ensure they get plenty of sunlight—shady spots are not ideal.
